Position Summary

The mission of the Director of Project Management is to ensure the delivery of exceptional client experiences through the proactive management of assigned projects. With oversight of a team of multi-skilled Project Managers; and in partnership with a diverse team of subject matter experts; the Director of Project Management monitors all project processes for time and resource efficiencies, cost management, process improvement opportunities and risk factors.

Your primary job responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and oversee the development of cross-functional project plans that establish milestones and resource allocation for delivery and completion.
  • Facilitate project workflow through routine and proactive communication across operational and client service departments as well as third-party vendors.
  • Mitigate risk through the oversight of work in progress against expectations including time, budget, function and appearance.
  • Perform all administrative tasks related to running a department including budget management, employee reviews, performance evaluations, PTO approvals (or declinations), and more.
  • Lead training, and provide best practices guidance to Project Managers.
  • Oversee quality assurance review processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Support strategy in providing budget and streamlined schedule for briefs, as well as input on executional mandatories and deliverables (as needed).
  • Attend client status calls, client creative reviews, pre-bid and post-bid meets as-needed.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a client-driven, integrated marketing or advertising environment.
  • 4-year college degree preferred, but not required.
  • A strong passion for marketing and helping businesses grow.
  • Motivated and growth-oriented, with a tenacious desire for success.
  • A passion for, and comfort level with, marketing and advertising technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and time management skills.
  • A cool, calm, collected and collaborative nature.

Position Summary

The Digital Advertising Specialist is a self-motivated analytical thinker who is responsible for day-to-day management and optimization of client digital advertising campaigns. Overseeing implementation, testing and measurement, the Digital Advertising Specialist works with the Digital Advertising Team and appropriate agency teams to deliver best-in-class integrated media solutions for our clients.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with the research and creation of media plans that are strategically appropriate and aligned to client objectives.
  • Build, deploy and optimize search engine marketing campaigns in Google AdWords, Bing Ads and related advertising networks.
  • Build, deploy and optimize social media advertising campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and other social media advertising networks.
  • Trend-spotting using data gathered from digital analytics reporting tools and client data sets.
  • Manage testing and media optimization initiatives.
  • Assist in the set up and operations of advertising campaign tracking and analytics.
  • Proactively contribute ideas to improve campaign performance and maximize ROI.
  • Prepare and review campaign performance reports.
  • Assist in fielding technical or informational requests related to campaign performance or advertising platform capabilities.

Qualifications

The Digital Advertising Specialist is a detail oriented problem solver who is energized by surfacing insights from raw data and optimizing for improved outcomes. With hands-on digital advertising experience, the Digital Advertising Specialist isn’t afraid to tackle complex challenges in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.

Additional requirements include:

  • Demonstrated experience in a digital media agency or digital advertising department.
  • An extraordinarily high attention to detail.
  • A working knowledge of Google AdWords and Bing Ads platforms.
  • Adept at working within a team and partnering across teams.
  • Experience using digital analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe, etc.)
  • Demonstrated problem solving and quantitative skills.
  • Cool, calm, collected and collaborative.
  • Proficient in Excel.

Marketing Internship

About the Program

Method Savvy seeks enthusiastic and hard-working interns to work along side our growing team to develop and deploy data-driven marketing and advertising programs. Interns will have the opportunity to grow online visibility and help build valuable marketing engines that increase website traffic and sales for a wide range of brands. During the course of the internship, you will gain an understanding of integrated digital marketing and its role in driving brand awareness, website traffic and sales.

The Method Savvy internship program is offered three times a year to allow full-time undergraduate or graduate students a peek inside a data-driven marketing agency. Interns are assigned to projects where they can apply their existing skills and learn new ones through real-world experience with actual clients. Internship offerings vary by agency need as well as semester but may include: Client Services, Account Management, Project Management, Marketing Technology, Insights and Analytics, Digital Advertising and Interactive Production.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Support client priorities and project tasks
  • Participate in brainstorm sessions
  • Research
  • Draft documents, recaps, and copy for marketing assets
  • Attend internal team meetings
  • Contribute to long and short-term client and agency projects

About You

You have a strong entrepreneurial spirit with a hunger to learn everything you can about data-driven marketing. You enjoy being part of a close-knit team, but retain a willingness to think critically and work independently. You’re not afraid to take chances and are comfortable in failing, dusting yourself off and trying again. Above all, you’re passionate online marketing and have the desire to learn as much about the subject as possible.

Additional Details

The Method Savvy Internship Program is offered during the Spring, Summer and Fall semesters of the academic year. We require a minimum of 12-15 hours per week in our Durham, North Carolina office for interns. The specific working hours are negotiable, but must significantly overlap with office working hours. The internships are unpaid and available to full-time students only.
