If you’re the CEO of a company, you probably wear a lot of hats. You’re in meetings all day with finance, the board, your direct reports, legal, and anybody else who is fortunate enough to get a few minutes with you.
It can seem as the CEO that you’re only guiding the bigger picture, not influencing the day to day decisions. And to some extent that’s good. You’re the CEO. You’re not supposed to be dug into the weeds of every single decision.
